The tiny black pup ran out of her den, trying to get away from her abusive parents, who scratched and bit her for a reason unknown to her. She occasionally turned her head back to see if they were following her, she never saw them. She wondered if they even cared about her, or if they even noticed she was gone. She sprinted, and as she did , got many thorns in her feet. She didn't care, she only wanted to get away from that wretched place.
