After the lava

Rose dashed onto the mossy stones. She could almost smell the lava even though she was far away from it. She heard a noise. She whipped around. Was someone there?

"Well aren't you far from home?"

A large silver she-wolf stepped out into the open behind Rose, stepping on her tail to stop her from running. "You're a pup from the Pack Of Sun aren't you, little one? You're very far from home, I must say." She huffed in amusement. "What an adventurous, brave little puppy. What's your name?"

Rose wriggled and squirmed, but the wolf was too strong. Time to play by her rules. "Rose," she said, "Now let me GO!" Rose bit the silver paw still on her tail.

[Torm]

Silver huffed. Tiny pup teeth barely hurt at all, and not nearly enough to make her let go. Still, she lifted her paw off her tail. "I'm Silver, warrior of the Pack Of Mist." She introduced herself with a friendly smile. "So Rose, what brings you all the way out here?"

"I wanted to see the lava, and I did, but it was so hot and smelled so bad, so I ran really fast away."
Rose mumbled, Looking down at her blackend paws.

[Torm]

Silver blinked in surprise. "That's dangerous, you know. If you fell in, that lava would kill you in less than a heartbeat." She warned.

Rose looked up sharply. "Those other pups didn't mention that!"

[Torm]

"Oh it's true. That's why everyone stays away from there--Even the big Alphas." Silver huffed, looking away. "Those humans created such a dangerous place, and no one likes it."
